These are challenging times personally and professionally and our main priority is ensuring your health and well-being. 

We are following all recommendations set out by local & federal authorities and will self isolate if we show symptoms related to Covid-19. As a team we are not currently in physical contact with each other to avoid transmitting any illness.  We want to continue to service our clients effectively.

Sellers who are currently listed with our team:

-You are always in control of who enters your home.  If you are uncomfortable at any point, please talk to us.

-If you are hesitant in staying on the market for health and safety reasons, let us know and we can discuss.

-If you are isolating or someone living in your home is sick, please advise us

-Leave cabinets and closet doors open during showings.  Anywhere a buyer may want to look, keep it open and available for viewing.

-Keep all the lights on during showings, and draw every window covering open

-We will make sure to communicate to all people viewing your home that they should be touching as little as possible.  Light switches, blinds, surfaces, etc

-Until further notice, open houses are not allowed to be held in Alberta

For Sellers who are looking to list with us:

-We are implementing virtual 3D listing tours on all of our listings.  This gives buyer the opportunity to walk through your home virtually.  The technology we use is called “Matterport”, and it’s very effective.

-For home preparation, we are offering video conferencing.  Have us through your home over video, and we will give you our best advice on how to prepare your home, room by room

- If you are comfortable with it, we are still offering face to face meetings, staging consultations, and any other service we typically offer.  The only caveat to this is that we must ensure a healthy environment and appropriate distancing during face to face meetings

-Professional photos and measurements will also only be done by healthy individuals.

-We can work with you to look at options for facilitating virtual open houses and showings.

-We will encourage you to disinfect door handles and light switches and common areas after live showings and inspections.  We will disinfect ourselves if we are showing our own clients.

-All paperwork can be signed via docusign over email.

For present and future buyer clients:

-Phone conferencing to help understand your buying needs.

-Video Tours of properties for buyers who are isolating and cannot leave their home

-For in person showings and inspections we will ensure that property occupants are not exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms. At the home we will disinfect light switches and handles throughout the home as we visit.

-We are asking our clients to drive their own car to any showings or inspections.

-We will be asking our clients your current health status 

-Contract and any required paperwork can be signed electronically through Docusign.  If you haven’t used Docusign before, it’s an excellent electronic signature program that is easy to use.

-Home inspectors are also taking elevated caution through their work processes.  We are encouraging buyers to not attend home inspections, and we can use video conferencing as a tool during home inspections.
